A blend of Lambrusco varieties of Sorbara (85%) and Grasparossa (15%), grown on clay-rich soils at almost 1000’ elevation and farmed organically. The grapes are harvested in the first ten days in September. Long Charmat (“Charmat Lungo”) method. 11.5% alcohol. A perennial Tre Bicchieri winner! Venturini Baldini is a 130-ha estate from the 17th century, situated in the hills between Reggio Emilia and Parma. Pours a very pale pink color and has tons of fresh stone fruit (peach, nectarine), juicy orange, red and yellow apple along with some rosehip flower notes. Fruity but dry, with soft carbonation, light body and refreshing acidity. Super balanced. Wonderful as an aperitif and also with charcuterie.
