100% Chardonnay from Moncuit estate Grand Cru vineyards in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Average vine age is 30 years. Hand harvested, fermented with native yeasts in all stainless steel. Full ML. Aged in stainless steel. Bottled and allowed to age on the lees for a minimum of 3 years before disgorgement, then aged an additional 3 months. 7 gr/l dosage 4,000 cases made. This beautiful, ripe wine is a quintessential Blanc de Blancs. Great minerality mingles with some bottle age, fruit and toast in harmony. Notes of lemon oil, green apple, wheat toast and fresh peach, followed by a medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural palate that’s quite fruit-driven. This rich bottling is ready to drink.
