Il Colle “The Hill” was founded in 1978 in San Pietro di Feletto (Treviso) by the Ceschin family, in the heart of the production area of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. The grapes are harvested by hand, cultivated, selected, vinified and bottled with great care and passion to give life to a full range of wines. The family's vineyards account for 80% of their production. The remaining fruit is purchased from small farmers who farm in accordance with the family's high standards. 100% Glera. Fermented in stainless steel with selected yeasts. Aged 30-40 days in autoclave. No ML. Dosage of 10-12 g/L. Bright straw-green. Aromas of apple and pear are complicated by floral notes and herbs. Bright and clean flavors of orchard and stone fruit have a mineral edge. Finishes long with repeating stone fruit and herbs on the long finish. Creamy texture.
