2024 Bedrock Wine Co. Sauvignon Blanc

100% organic (uncertified) Sauvignon Blanc sourced from Bedrock, Judge, Uboldi, and Leveroni Vineyards. Aged for 6 months in stainless steel and 20% new oak cigares (like Dageneau!). 13.8% alcohol.  This is one of the best domestic SBs out there! Aromatic, with  notes of peach, lychee, sweet citrus, and fresh herbs. Made in a Pouilly-Fumé style with added ripeness and a hint of new oak, it’s light-bodied yet focused, with a lingering finish, captivating minerality and balance. This is elegant, flinty and mineral with flavors of melon, green papaya, and citrus overlaying fresh and sappy fruit and bright acid. The oak really adds more in texture than in flavor. Bedrock is first and foremost a mission-driven operation dedicated to preserving and rehabilitating winery vineyards around California.
