2023 Tenuta Cipressi 'John Doe' Orange

An unspecified blend of Moscato and Trebbiano from volcanic soils. Fermented on native yeasts in cement vats with two weeks of skin contact. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with zero sulphur additions- 0/0! 12.0% alcohol.

This is a clean, non-funky natural orange wine that is super distinct and fun! Great aromatics of lychee, peach, apricot, candied orange and fresh flowers. Medium bodied, super smooth, clean and fresh, with tons of fruit character with just a hint of pithiness providing texture. Pair with anything spicy. 

Tenuta Cipressi is an agriturismo and farm in the romantic atmosphere of the Abruzzi country surrounded a frame of hills that include the peaks of Gran Sasso and Maiella, only six miles from the sea. They cultivate almost 1,000 acres of vines, olive trees, wheat and various other crops.
