100% Cabernet Franc. Native yeast fermentation in stainless. We love Cab Franc rosé- it's so food friendly! This is fuller-bodied, with wild, exotic aromatics of strawberry, rhubarb, white pepper, hibiscus- even though it has a bunch of Cab Franc spicy/herbal quality, it still retains a gluggable fruit punch like freshness. Dry, juicy and long.
The Audeberts have been making wines in the Bourgueil region since 1839. Their family estate spreads over 42 hectares across the appellations of Bourgueil, Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil and Chinon. Here François and the team grow Cabernet Franc (locally known as ‘Breton’ and the only authorised grape varietal in Bourgueil) on 4 different soils: sand, gravel, siliceous clay and clay limestone. The presence of such diverse soils provides their cuvées unique character and typicality.
