2023 Brecon Rosé

80.19% Cabernet Sauvignon (from 50+ year old vines), 13.42% Tannat, 5.46% Malbec, .93% Grenache all from the Adelaida AVA, 13.5% alcohol. 417 cases made. Delicious, fresh and aromatic, with much more complexity and depth than your average California pink wine. Strawberry, pomegranate, melon, ripe green apple, guava, white cherry and mineral notes are all wrapped up in a smooth, medium bodied palate that coats the mouth but remains mouthwateringly crisp and refreshing. Acid is perfectly balanced. This small boutique producer makes tiny lots of wine that are usually available only through their tasting room.  Damian Grindley, Brecon’s owner and master winemaker, is a proud Welshmen with over 30 years experience crafting wines across the United States, Australia, and Europe.
