56% Grenache Blanc, 39% Viognier, and 5% Roussanne, all from the Willow Creek sub AVA of Paso. Fermented cool in a combination of concrete tulip, concrete egg, and French oak foudre and barrels. Aged four months sur lie: 44% in concrete, 30% in foudre, and 26% in French oak barrels and puncheons (10% new). Classic Rhône-style white blend with a New World twist- rich aromas of honey, apricot, honeysuckle, vanilla bean and peach. Rich and full bodied, almost unctuous on the palate at 14.1% alcohol, but with plenty of cleansing acidity to keep it fresh. Lots of floral and spicy notes adding to the richness of fruit. Drink now with richer fare or age for another 10 years to let it develop.
