2021 Meadowcroft Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 'Vino del Sol'

100% sustainable Pinot Noir. Aged for twelve months in new French oak.   2021 was a vintage marked by significant drought, early harvests, and exceptional, powerful Pinot Noir. Full of classic Pinot aromas of raspberry, strawberry and plum, with fun hibiscus notes melding nicely into barrel-inflected notes of vanilla and spice. Well balanced, smooth and rich while staying medium bodied. Smooth, soft tannins and fresh acidity close it out. While Tom Meadowcroft made his name planning vineyards and pruning vines for some of the most iconic properties in California—names like Opus One, Cakebread, Duckhorn, Stags Leap—he always dreamed of founding his own project based on these principles.
