2021 Laird Family Cabernet Sauvignon

91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Malbec. The Cab comes from Flat Rock Ranch, Linda Vista Ranch and Dry Creek Ranch, while the Malbec comes entirely from Flat Rock. Aged 21 months in 38% new French oak. Full bodied, rich and intense with plenty of Cab character and oak influence. A touch of Malbec was added to enhance the depth and structure of this wine, resulting in a wine that is fruity, delightfully balanced, and approachable. The color of a garnet gemstone with delicious aromas of raspberry jam, brown sugar, and red licorice. Flavors of roasted coconut, fresh blackberry, and plum are accompanied by a smooth structure with sturdy tannins and juicy acidity. Drink now through 2029.
