100% biodynamic Grüner Veltliner. Estate grown, dry farmed, hand picked; fermented with native yeasts, unfined and unfiltered and aged solely in steel- totally natural juice! This is one of the best Grüners we’ve tasted recently. A super fresh nose of tropical fruit, lemon-lime zest, mint, white pepper, apricot, chamomile tea, and wet stone lead into a medium bodied palate with GV’s awesome textural weight. Totally dry and medium bodied, with medium-plus acidity and a long, intense finish marked by salinity. Excellent food wine that can accompany almost anything, from a green saald to smoked mussels to coconut curry dishes. Christoph Edelbauer pressed his first vintage in 2003, and today the winemaker cultivates thirty acres of vineyards.
