100% Sauvignon Blanc. Barrel fermented in French oak with native yeasts, then aged 7 months in a ombination of concrete egg, 600L French oak barrels and 225L barriques, 8% new. Bottled unfined. 13.5% alcohol. 575 cases made. Pale straw in color with flecks of green. Super fresh and aromatic on the nose, with zesty citrus fruit, tangy green apple and a Loire-like smattering of fresh herbs and flinty minerality. Medium bodied, supple and smooth in the mouth, with mouthwatering acidity. and just the tiniest hint of barrel spice. This quite concentrated, yet light on its feet wine, is singing right now, but should be very interesting to watch age for the next 3-5 years as well. One of our favorite domestic Sauvignon Blancs, this is wonderful with or without food.
93 points, Wine Enthusiast. "This sophisticated, medium-bodied Sauvignon Blanc with juicy acidity has a flinty quality taking me straight to the Loire Valley. The wine smells like the sweet grassy resin of sunflowers. Other aromas include earth, mineral and lemon, and flavors of lemon scones and nutmeg fill the mouth." — Michael Alberty
92+ points, Antonio Galloni's Vinous. "The 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Oliane lifts from the glass with a remarkably fresh bouquet of savory herbs, crushed green apples and lemon zest. This is soft and soothing, with supple textures and citrus-tinged orchard fruits, coming across as distinctly savory yet still incredibly fresh. This tapers off with a salty flourish and gentle grip, as the mouth waters for more. It’s impossible to stop at just one glass."
