100% sustainably grown Riesling. Hand harvested, fermented and aged for four to six months on the lees in stainless steel. 12.5% alcohol.
This is an easy going, dry Riesling with aromatic notes of grapefruit, lemon peel, pear, apricot, honey and a hint of petrol creeping in. Medium bodied but very mouthfilling, with still fresh acidity but a fairly soft, round profile. Excellent quality to price ratio here.

The Falkensteiner Cliffs are foothills of the northern limestone Alps and form a basin around the town of Falkenstein. The soils are sun-drenched and characterized by loess and clay, which has accumulated on the mountain slopes, as well as shell limestone from the primeval sea, from which the landscape rose millions of years ago. Thanks to the altitude and the surrounding forests, it cools down significantly at night even on hot summer days, which means that the wines retain their lively freshness even at high maturity.
