100% organic Barbera grown in a single old vineyard in Santa Maria (in the La Morra commune of Barolo). Agerd for 12-14 months in barrique. A touch of oak lends this wine structure and elegance without overwhelming the fresh, pure fruit. Fragrant with high-toned red fruit (cherry, plum, red currant), mint, leather and chocolate, a hint of vanilla and the depth, structure, and fresh acidity you’d expect from a great Barbera. Totally mouthfilling without feeling heavy at all. Give this some air to really show its best now. An incredible food wine that is very versatile at the table. This is one of Mike’s favorite wines every year! Only 4,000 bottles are made. 14.5% alcohol.
