100% Pinot Noir, fermented naturally and aged solely in stainless steel. 13.0% alcohol. Supple but delicate aromas of red and dark fruit- I’m getting more red plum than cherry. Light bodied, super smooth, and very fresh, with a hint of creaminess surrounding the tart red plum flavors on the palate. Good acidity and almost no tannin make this a great candidate for chilling! The lightness and flavor profile of Alsatian Pinot Noir make it a natural red wine complement to many fish dishes, including tuna, salmon, and trout. The classic pairing would be Choucroute garnie (French for dressed sauerkraut), an Alsatian recipe for preparing sauerkraut with sausages and other salted meats and charcuterie and often potatoes. Or try a smoked pork chop!
