This classic quaffing wine from the mountain vineyards of Savoie is light bodied, fruity and fresh. Citrus and white fruits combine well in a bright, cool wine that drinks like mountain spring water. Drink now! This wine is ideal with mountain dishes such as fondue, raclette, tartiflette or crozets gratin or with fish and shellfish.
In 1966, The Viallet family acquired their first estate in Apremont. Their son, Philippe Viallet, joined the estate in 1985 and created Maison Philippe Viallet. Over 30 years and several vineyard acquisitions, the Domaine has grown to 118 hectares across various Savoie appellations. In 2020, it gained sustainable certification. Philippe is also a negociant-éleveur and has contracts with several Savoie, Jura, and Bugey growers. Savoie, France’s only alpine wine region, is located between mountains and lakes and has diverse local, primarily white grape varieties.
