100% sustainably grown Pinot Noir. Individual parts of the vineyard were vinified separately, and all lots are fermented in small fermenters with regular hand cap-punch downs for a gentle extraction. Extended maceration post fermentation is allotted before pressing and racking to oak barriques, where the wines ages for 11 months before bottling. 13% alcohol. Texturally, the wine is light bodied, silky and elegant on the palate. It has balance and finesse along with the vibrant fruit characters that Marlborough wines are known for. Tons of red cherry, strawberry, plum and blackberry fruit with supporting notes of mushroom, vanilla and spice. Smooth, with mellowish tannins and brisk but not screechy acidity. Great with salmon!
