2018 Laird Family 'Jillian's Blend'

One of our favorites every year! 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, 12% Merlot, 5% Malbec, 1% Petit Verdot. Aged 21 months in oak 90% French oak, 10% American oak; 35% new, 65% neutral.  14.8% alcohol. All the fruit is sourced from really high quality Napa Valley vineyards: Cabernet Sauvignon- Dry Creek Ranch, Linda Vista Ranch, and Mast Ranch; Syrah and Merlot- Suscol Ranch; Malbec & Petit Verdot- Flat Rock Ranch.

Full bodied, rich and powerful, with aromatic notes of dark fruit, tobacco, lavender and toasted oak.  There's some bright, tart red cherry fruit hiding under the super smooth mouthfeel. Really complex but easy to drink, and will continue to improve for the next five years at least.
