Full bodied, rich and velvety smooth. Aromas and flavors of ripe, deep cherry notes with baking spices, cardamom, clove and earthy forest floor. Kessler-Haak is located on Hwy 246, 11 miles west of Buellton in the cooler northwestern section of the Sta. Rita Hills AVA. Owner/grower/winemaker Dan Kessler, along with his wife Ellen Haak-Kessler, purchasaed this 40 acre parcel and planted 30 acres of vines in 2005. They make a small amount of wine while selling fruit to The Ojai Vineyard, Madson and more.
